New Business Venture

Well, a lot of things have been going on lately. And also a lot of updating that I need to do.

Back in February Adams whole department at work got shut down, which in turn meant everyone in that department had been laid off. Lucky us, right? Well, surprisingly yes. That was us, lucky. For a while now Adam has played around with the idea of starting up his own business. We felt that considering the circumstances now would actually be the best time. Since then everything has fallen in to place, but not with out the use of a lot of patience. And we are still practicing are faith skills as well.

Adam officially has his own business now. The business is located just 5 minutes from our home, which is very nice and definitely convenient, not to mention a lot less gas needed for our car. So far Adam has 1 client and from the sounds of it everything is going pretty well. The business is not profitable yet but he is able to pay the bills associated with the business. And we have been able to get approved for 2 different business loans. Those loans will help sustain the business and our family until they become profitable, which doesn't look to far off. He is working on getting a second client as we speak. It seems very promising.
